Hosted Exchange - Task Management

With shared Tasks, Calendars, Contacts and Public Folders, you get the necessary functionality without having to learn another application or deal with complex project management features you don’t need or use.

- When you receive an email with a task that you want to assign to somebody else, drag the message from your inbox to the Tasks button in the Navigation Pane, then click Assign Task in the window that opens, enter the email address of the person being assigned, and click Send when finished.
- Tasks may be created for short-term or one time projects; or click on Recurrence when creating or assigning a new task for ongoing activities that need to get done every week or month, for example.
- Tasks can be maintained and updated on the task lists of the person assigning the task and the person being assigned, and the person assigning the task may select a status report option to receive an e-mail notification once the task is completed. When creating Task Request, make sure both boxes are checked.
